On a Wednesday in August, I traveled with a colleague to visit Denison University in Granville, Ohio, about five hours from my home in Maryland. Granville is charming and picturesque, reminding me of a small New England community.
Plus, Denison’s campus is impressive and beautiful. What is equally impressive and exciting are the academic opportunities offered to Denison students. Students at Denison can’t hide or be just another face. They matter as individuals and they are prepared for lives of purpose by professors who are experts in their fields and make a point of knowing their students by name.
This is a residential campus community, where students live and learn together, embracing ideals of integrity, intellect, diversity and respect for themselves and our environment. Denison offers over 67 majors and pre-professional programs, as well as multiple internship opportunities and study abroad. If interested, check them out at: https://denison.edu/campus/about/overview
