“More than three-quarters of students are accepted by their first-choice college.” ~ Higher Education Research Institute, UCLA
That is a very hopeful quote, isn’t it! College-bound teens have an excellent chance of getting into a school that is the best fit for them if they plan and prepare. The Silver plan is specifically for that student who needs a bit more organizational support and a personalized approach to the college admissions’ process.
I believe there is a college in this country that is the perfect fit for every student and is affordable, based on the student and families’ budget. This is our most popular package at $5,445.00, a savings of over $3000.00 from purchase of services individually. Check out the Services and Fees page for a list of all the services offered in this plan. Some specific services of the Silver plan include:
Developing and Revising the College List
After discussion with the student and the family, a list of at least 10 schools will be developed. This list will include all of the criteria necessary to make this one of the top college choices for the student. The list can be easily modified several times before a final list is determined. An excel spreadsheet is designed with information on specific college requirements, including:
- GPA/class rank
- SAT/ACT/AP scores/Test optional
- Separate scholarship requirements, if necessary
Career Planning via Career Assessment
The Strong Career Interest Inventory is one of the worlds’ most widely respected and frequently used career planning tools. This tool has been used to guide thousands of individuals in their search for a rich and fulfilling career. Once completed, the student and parents will receive a report that matches the student’s strengths and interests with careers; interpretation and analysis of results; and personality preferences.
Essay brainstorming, editing and revisions
For college admissions’ today, the college essay is one of the most important documents included with the college application. After brainstorming essay topics, this service includes review of the essay and support during the revision and editing process. The goal is for the student to submit a well written, polished example of their own writing with their application. Oftentimes, the essay is the determining factor in the admissions’ process.
